• Jakob Anthony Sells made an initial appearance on a violation of probation charge. The public defender's office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing is set for 2:15 p.m. on Oct. 21. Sells is being held without bond. A mental health and substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
• Raquel Shepherd made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Shepherd pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.
• Nestor Hernandez Santiago made an initial appearance on an unlawful passing of a school bus-first offense charge. Hernandez Santiago pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.
• Michael Joseph Fleck made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Fleck pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.
• Javier Ordaz made an initial appearance on a failure to yield upon entering a through highway charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 14 in Magistrate Court.
• Ella Faith Vermeer made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Vermeer pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.
