• Gustavo Perez Rodriguez made an initial appearance on a violation of parole charge. Dusty Clements is appointed as counsel. The parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by the Administrative Law Judge. Perez Rodriguez is being held without bond.
• Steven Lynn Erdman made an initial appearance on a violation of probation charge. The public defender's office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Erdman is being held without bond.
• Andrew Frederick Marshall made an initial appearance on an operating while under the influence-first offense charge and a no insurance-accident charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 18. Bond is $1,000 cash or surety. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
• Filandi Badjanam Abaou made an initial appearance on a public intoxication charge. Abaou pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• On Wednesday, Oct. 28, Steven Erdman, 59, was arrested on a warrant.
• On Wednesday, Oct. 28, Jennifer Ayers, 44, was arrested for dog at large.
• On Wednesday, Oct. 28, Andrew Marshall, 57, was arrested for operating while under the influence-first offense.
• On Wednesday, Oct. 28, Filandi Abaou, 34, was arrested for public intoxication-first offense.

• On Wednesday, Oct. 28, Zachary Bitker, 24, was arrested of a mittimus warrant.
Accidents
• On Friday, Oct. 23, an SUV driven by Jackalin Micheall Barker, 25, of Hiawatha, was southbound on Highway 330 when it struck a deer that entered the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Barker SUV was estimated at $5,000.
• On Thursday, Oct. 22, a car driven by Amanda Winne Hughes, 60, of Garwin, was on the off ramp eastbound from Highway 30 to Highway 146 when it struck a deer that jumped onto the roadway from the north ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Hughes car was estimated at $8,000.
