Kinser

The Iowa State University Alumni Association recognized Jessica Kinser as the recipient of the Outstanding Young Alumni Award on Oct. 25 at the 88th annual Honors & Awards ceremony. Presented annually since 1968, this award recognizes ISU alumni age 40 and under who have excelled in their professions and provided service to their communities.

As the city administrator of Marshalltown, Kinser’s expertise and leadership are helping the community work to rebuild together after a tornado devastated Marshalltown on July 19, 2018. She is overseeing the implementation of a new downtown development plan, as well as reconstruction of the city’s Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
