Members of the local VFW Post 839 in Marshalltown collected food items to be donated to the Emergency Food Box on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and served a free hot dog lunch to all who contributed. They received generous donations from Hy-Vee, Fareway, Casey’s and Kwik Star.
