Color changes

T-R PHOTO BY GARRY BRANDENBURG - The leaves of hickory and oak trees are the only species retaining a bit of vivid color on Oct. 25. The leaf petioles are now fragile enough that if the next few days have strong wind,  leaves will be fluttering down to the forest floor. This image was made over Mormon Ridge as seen from an eagle or hawk's vantage point, or a pilot with an open window.
