Marshalltown police were dispatched to The Git N Go convenience store, 902 W. Lincoln Way, at 11:54 p.m. Friday concerning an armed robbery. A male suspect entered the store and displayed a weapon while demanding money from an employee according to a MPD press release.

The individual fled the scene and was not apprehended.

The incident remains under investigation.
