An incident on May 9 led to Marshalltown Police arresting of Donald Freeman, 41, of Marshalltown.

According to the criminal complaint filed by police, Freeman allegedly committed a domestic assault against a family member and used or displayed a dangerous weapon. Police report the incident took place in the Ferner Street neighborhood.
