Three new businesses opened in Union Saturday

Three new businesses opened in Union Saturday, all within the same building at 411 Center St. The first is Backroom Bargains which is a non-profit quality consignment store where all sale proceeds are contributed to Net High Academy, a program that helps dropout students obtain high school diplomas. The store is operated by Cynthia Knight and Steven Cox of Union and accepts quality consignment items from individuals for resale. The second business is The Cutting Edge, a hair salon owned and operated by Ashley Wilson of Union. Wilson offers haircuts, perms, color, styles and waxing services. The third is Massage by Cami, a massage therapy studio operated by Cami Cox of Pleasant Hill. Cami is trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sport, Pre-natal, Lymphatic and Craniosacral techniques. Steven said they opened this building to bring more business to Union and to create more convenience for the residents of Union.
