Learning more about ways to stay healthy and happy as you age is the goal of the Times-Republican's annual Senior Expo, which will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. July 30 at the Marshalltown Mall.
Free and open to the public, an assortment of vendors -- 15 in total -- will be on hand to offer advice and informational resources about topics ranging from assisted living, funeral planning, rehabilitation, health insurance, hearing aids and more.
T-R Marketing Director Deanna Davis McGowan said the expo isn't just for senior citizens, but rather, for the people who love and care for them.
"It's important for the children of seniors to come and scope it out," Davis McGowan said.
