Man charged with arson-second degree
A Marshalltown man, Adrian Lavone Kincade, 41, was arrested by Marshalltown police Saturday on a charge of arson-second degree, according to a police report.
Kincade is accused of breaking into a vehicle through a window and igniting items inside, causing the vehicle to catch fire and create more than $750 in damage, according to court documents.
Kincade was identified as the perpetrator by the victim and a witness.
He was transported to Marshall County Jail.
At his initial appearance before a magistrate Monday, Kincade was appointed a public defender and ordered held on $10,000 cash/surety bond. His preliminary hearing is Sept. 23.
