Local man faces felony burglary charge

A Marshalltown man was picked up on a warrant this week and charged with felony burglary.

Kevin K. Kroger, 27, Marshalltown, is charged with pre-trail release violations, third-degree burglary, a class D felony; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

At his initial appearance Tuesday, Kroger’s pre-trial release was revoked and and he was ordered held on $2,000 cash or surety bond. The public defenders’ office was appointed.

Kroger’s preliminary hearing is Nov. 15.

He was previously convicted of theft in the fourth degree in Tama County in December 2012.
