The NOLA Jazz band staged a New Orleans style Mardi Gras concert on Saturday at the Orpheum theater in Marshalltown. Orpheum director Bob Untiedt said this was the first of several “big name” concerts that will be held throughout the year, and the summer Friday evening lineup is almost set. He also wants to remind area residents that movies are being shown to area county schools throughout the school year.
