The 13th annual Daddy Daughter Dance on Friday was a hit.
The event was sponsored by the Marshalltown YWCA in the cultural center gymnasium.
Ashley Nelson, coordinator of the event, said more than 70 couples registered for the dance with this year’s theme being a “Neon Glow Party.”
The annual dance is designed for girls in preschool through third grade to dress up in formal attire and invite dad, uncle, grandpa, or brother for a very special evening.
