On Sunday, the Marshalltown Chamber of Commerce CEO Lynn Olberding announced the postponement or cancellation of numerous events due to COVID-19.

The following events are postponed:

• Women in Business Luncheon on March 26.

• Scholastic Banquet on May 6.

The following events are canceled, with the possibility of rescheduling at a later date:

• March Business After Hours at Dave Wright on Thursday

• April Business After Hours at PCA on April 21

• Iowa Valley Leadership class’s Trivia Night on April 2.

Also on Thursday, the Chamber office will be closed until 10:30 a.m. due to a scheduled power outage from Alliant Energy. Chamber staff will work remotely until power is restored.
