The Marshalltown Police Department closed off part of South Sixth Street Tuesday morning after a four car accident caused by slick conditions. While vehicles were being loaded up and the site cleaned, officers stood at various intersections and redirected traffic. Lt. Sadie Weekley said one vehicle began slowing down for the red light and was rear-ended by another car because of the ice. There were no injuries.
