The Marshalltown Area Chamber of Commerce is promoting Think Local First through an event geared towards ladies. The events are April 8, April 15 and April 22 from 4 – 8 p.m. These events are free and open to all public to attend. There will be different promotions as well as refreshments served at each location with the opportunity to win a large prize package.

Keri Morris, Membership Director, says she is excited to organize this Ladies Night Out event. “This is a great opportunity for the public to support local through shopping at some of our local boutiques, wine, chocolateries, and women’s stores. The fall Ladies Night Out was such a success that we couldn’t help but do a series of spring events and with folks being cooped up all winter, this is a great way to support local. Since April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, we thought appropriate to tie in with Child Abuse Prevention Services (CAPS), of Marshalltown, to help raise awareness.”
