Police searching for robbery suspect

The Marshalltown Police Department is searching for a man connected to a robbery which occurred early Monday morning.

At approximately 5 a.m., an employee of the Git-N-Go convenience store, 3302 South Center St., called the police to report a robbery. Upon arrival, officers determined a male suspect had entered the store and demanded money. The suspect subsequently left the store on foot after stealing the undisclosed amount of cash. No other descriptor information about the suspect is available for release at this time.

The employee was not injured.
