Edgington

A Marshalltown man was found dead outside of Nevada Friday morning.

Story County authorities said Adam Eugene Edgington, 42, was found deceased near Nevada.

The former Miller Middle School teacher was arrested Wednesday for sexual exploitation of a 13-year-old student but had not been convicted of the crime.

In response to the tragic events, Miller Middle School Co-principals David Glenn and Kristyn Kell said the Crisis Response Team and support from Center Associates will be available for students at the school next week.

The times and dates are:

• 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

• 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday

• 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Friday.
