Several sites in Marshalltown are still providing self-administered mail-in COVID-19 tests at no cost to those who need them.

Free mail-in tests are available at the Marshalltown Public Library, 105 W. Boone St.; Primary Health Care, 412 E. Church St.,; UnityPoint Express Clinic, 1704 S. Center St. and on the north side of the McFarland Clinic, 312 E. Main St.

The saliva tests are sent to the State Hygienic Lab in Coralville, and results are processed within 24 hours of delivery. No proof of insurance is needed, but access to email is a requirement for receiving the results.
