The Marshall County Crime stoppers are now offering a $500 reward for information leading to an arrest in connection with a slew of as yet unsolved arsons.

Over the last year, the Marshalltown Fire Department has been called to a total of nine vacant structure fires that have been determined to be arsons after subsequent investigations. Another blaze that torched a vacant downtown building at 110 W. Main St. on Feb. 19 is considered suspicious but has not officially been labeled an arson yet.
