Shelby Breault and Kip Hilderbrand surprised everyone in attendance for a fundraising event when they tied the knot in an impromptu wedding ceremony held at the Sixth Street Softball Diamond on Saturday evening. After visiting the doctor last November about a tightness in his chest, Hilderbrand has been battling a rare and aggressive form of cancer called Angiosarcoma. The community has rallied around Hilderbrand since his diagnosis because he has always given so much to those in need. The fundraiser was hosted on Saturday to help Hilderbrand with medical costs, and the couple wanted to share the moment with everyone who has helped them through the adverse situation.
