All are welcome to celebrate National Prayer Day in Marshalltown

By Times-Republican 1 min read

The public is invited to gather at the Marshalltown Cultural Center (the old YMCA) on May 4 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The Marshall County Prayer Task Force is thrilled to be celebrating another year with a marked day of prayer!

The Task Force, supported by our local churches and community -- invites all to come to an evening celebration for the National Day of Prayer. This year we encourage churches, businesses, or homes to plan a prayer time where others can come and gather during the day -- over a morning break or lunch, across our city.

Then, at 6:30 p.m., we will all meet at the Cultural Center (old YMCA) to pray together as the Body of Christ -- lifting up our hearts in worship and prayer.

There is nothing more beautiful than to see what Revelation 15:4 states to be true -- right here in Marshalltown -- the Hub/Epicenter of the nations. We have over 60 different languages residing right here.

'All the nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have been revealed!’

To that we say, Yes and Amen! Come and join us on May 4!

Starting at /week.
