According to a letter sent out to customers last month, Wells Fargo will be permanently closing its downtown Marshalltown location at 102 S. Center St. on July 26.

The other Wells Fargo location in town, located at 2703 S. Center St., will remain open, and the letter states that individual accounts will not be affected by the change. The building suffered heavy damage during the July 19, 2018 tornado and was completely replaced afterward.
