Heart of Iowa Big Brothers Big Sisters teamed up with several local agencies including the Marshalltown Public Library and the police and fire departments for a “Trucks and Tacos” back to school event on Saturday in the parking lot of the First Methodist Church at 202 W. Main St. Nancy Avila of One Love Barbershop also provided free haircuts for students heading back to area schools in the fall. The event featured food and drinks, trucks and cars, vaccination information and community resource information.
