The 40 members of the Assistance League of Marshalltown came together at the First Presbyterian Church Thursday morning to prepare hundreds of pot pies as part of the organization’s first annual chicken pot pie fundraiser. Pickup is Friday, Oct. 20 from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 21 from 8 a.m. to noon in the First Presbyterian Church parking lot at 101 S. Center St. Limited pies that were not pre ordered will be available for sale for $20. Cash, checks and Venmo will be accepted.
