On Saturday at 12:17 p.m., public safety personnel responded to the 100 block of Iowa Avenue West after receiving a 911 call about a two-vehicle collision.

An adult male who was involved in the accident has died. The name of the deceased is not being released at this time pending family notifications.

This investigation is ongoing, and the Iowa State Patrol is assisting the Marshalltown Police Department.
