LII Lennox Foundation spreads warmth by gifting coats to local elementary students

CONTRIBUTED PHOTOS — Lennox employees recently volunteered to help Rogers Elementary students get new winter coats.

In November, the LII Lennox Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Lennox, partnered with Operation Warm to hand out brand-new winter coats to students at Rogers Elementary in Marshalltown.

Dozens of Lennox employees volunteered to help the children find the perfect coat, ensuring a good fit and, maybe more importantly, their favorite color. The volunteer event was part of a larger effort from the LII Lennox Foundation to provide hundreds of coats to students with five events in communities where Lennox operates.

Founded in 2023, the LII Lennox Foundation broadens the scope of charitable initiatives at Lennox, like the event at Rogers Elementary.

“The LII Lennox Foundation remains dedicated to making a meaningful difference, and I’m proud of our engagement with Operation Warm. Through strategic partnerships and volunteer initiatives, we aim to uplift communities where our employees live and work,” said Lennox CEO Alok Maskara.

The LII Lennox and Operation Warm have a long-standing relationship, but this was the first volunteer event held in Marshalltown. After a positive response to the Rogers Elementary event, the LII Lennox Foundation and Operation Warm plan to bring future volunteer events here.
