The Marshall County Veterans Affairs Commissioners invites the community to the Veterans Affairs Memorial Groundbreaking following the Board of Supervisor Meeting on April 10, 2024, to be held at the site, on the southwest corner of the Courthouse square, pending Board of Supervisor approval and acceptance of the bids.

Quotations were received for the memorial foundation, and the best bid for the work was found to be Con-Struct Inc, donating all of their materials and labor, and charging only for the concrete, $4,320. The Engineers Estimate for the foundation is $36,785. Martha Ellen Tye Foundation provided a Grant Award of $25,000. Marshall County continues to be blessed by our community partners for this project.
