The Beaman Community Memorial Library sponsored a magic show on Saturday at the Discovery Garden next to the library. Magician Jonathan May got the audience involved in his show, which was part of several events as part of Memorial Day weekend events in Beaman on Saturday. An antique tractor display, kids games, kids tractor pulls, a cornhole tournament and music by "Unpolished Jams" were among the other featured events on Saturday, in addition to traditional memorial events on Monday. Beaman Grill & Pit provided lunch and dinner meals.
