TAMA — A single vehicle UTV crash that left a Tama man dead on Saturday evening is under investigation by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office, according to a press release issued Monday.

At 8:04 p.m., deputies responded to the crash in the 3200 block of H avenue west of Tama. Mark Alan Shipley of Tama was identified as the occupant of the UTV and pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation, and the sheriff’s office was assisted by the Tama Police Department, the Tama Ambulance service and the Tama Fire Department.
