The Marshalltown man who stands accused of shooting and killing 41-year-old Ramon Alexis Feliciano Nieves outside the Center Street Station bar early Saturday morning is still at large, and the Marshall County Crime Stoppers are offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
Victor Antonio Delgadillo, 18, has been charged with first degree murder and first degree harassment after allegedly shooting and killing Nieves in an incident captured on a video that has since been widely circulated. His current whereabouts are unknown.
“We are following leads and continue to devote extensive resources to the search. The public is encouraged to submit tips,” Marshalltown Police Chief Mike Tupper said.
As previously noted, there is a $1,000 reward through Marshall County Crime Stoppers for information leading to an arrest, and tips can be submitted anonymously by calling (641) 753-1234 or via text by texting the word “marshall” followed by the tip to CRIMES (274637).
Delgadillo was arrested for trafficking in stolen weapons, a Class D felony, back on April 5, and he was awaiting trial on that charge at the time of the shooting. He was released from the Marshall County Jail after posting bond on April 8.
