The annual No River Days was held on Saturday and brought area residents to Gilman despite the heat. The event started with a pancake breakfast and 5K walk hosted by the Gilman Fire Department, followed by an 11:30 a.m. parade. There were free activities and entertainment in the city park and a vendor fair. The celebration closed with a street dance and music provided by Mike Bernard and the Midwest Made.
