The Marshalltown Area Chamber of Commerce ambassadors made it a twofer Tuesday on ribbon cuttings with Doo Dah’s Diner, located at 128 E. Main St., and Mid-Iowa Petroleum Equipment at 108 W. Madison St. Doo Dah’s is under new ownership and management after longtime owners Craig and Kris Robinson sold the business to MHS alum David Grieve, who has returned to his hometown from the Wichita, Kan. area, and it is now being managed by fellow Marshalltown natives Jack Brimmer and Samara Torres. With Co-Owner Nikkie Minteer on hand to represent the company, Mid-Iowa Petroleum Equipment also celebrated becoming a new Chamber member as Minteer provided some history of the business and its growth and evolution over the years.
