Marshalltown City Councilors Gary Thompson, Mark Mitchell and Greg Nichols, pictured with Marshalltown Community Band Director Brett Umthun, presented checks totaling $1,400 from the “I’m With the Band” t-shirt fundraiser during Thursday night’s weekly performance at West End Park.

“We wish to thank everyone that purchased shirts and donated to the band,” the councilors said.
