Big Boy #UP4014’s tour started Wednesday, Aug. 28 in Cheyenne, Wyo. More than three dozen additional whistle-stops in communities across our network are also scheduled alongside display events in Rochelle, Ill., Houston and Fort Worth. Due to the length of this tour, there is an extended servicing stop in late September lasting two weeks.

The train is set to depart from Boone on Thursday at 9 a.m. and pass through the area before stopping at Belle Plaine at 12:15 p.m. and departing again at 12:30 p.m. for Cedar Rapids.
