Times-Republican advertising clerk Shelton Coleman and ad director Rhonda James present a donation of $1,188 to Gary Fulton and Cindy Staron with the Emergency Food Box on Tuesday. The money will be utilized to buy food items for the food pantry. Staron and Fulton estimate the food already in the pantry will be all gone by Christmas. The Times-Republican donated the money through the Best Deal of the Year campaign. Every full page ad sold in November resulted in giving $99 to the food box. We are pleased to partner with local businesses to make this donation to the Emergency Food Box. It is important we remember those less fortunate this holiday season knowing every little bit helps.
