The team stands by to place turkeys in the cars in line during TurkeyThon 2024, courtesy of Radio Z 95.5. The giveaway was held in the parking lot of the Marshalltown Police and Fire Department. When it started, there was a line of cars stretched from the police station to beyond Wayward Social. In the end, 350 turkeys were given. The radio station partnered with fellow sponsors HyVee, Iowa Premium Beef, Members First Community Credit Union, Wilson Toyota of Ames, Lennox Credit Union, Chuck Smith with State Farm, JBS, Guadalupe Gomez with Remax, Zamora Fresh Market, Pinnacle Bank, El Portal Mexican Restaurant, Jeffery Linton with State Farm, Abarrotes la Salud, Mojitos, Marshalltown Family Dentistry, United Bank and Trust, Eyemart Optic, Lara’s Bakery, Supermarket Villachuato, DCW/UFCW Local 1846, E&P Rodriguez Auto Sales, American Family Insurance, First Real Estate and Immobiliaria.
