Blom sworn in for the 91st General Assembly

DES MOINES — On Jan. 13, Rep. David Blom (R-Marshalltown) was sworn into the Iowa House of Representatives on the first day of the 91st General Assembly. The swearing-in ceremony was shortly followed by opening remarks by Speaker of the House Pat Grassley, outlining some of the priorities of the Legislature for the 2025 session.
This is Rep. Blom’s first term in the Iowa House of Representatives. He serves as the Vice Chair of the Commerce Committee. He also serves on the Appropriations, Local Government and Veterans Affairs Committees, as well as the Transportation, Infrastructure and Capitals Budget Subcommittee.
