Seymour garners multiple awards

Iowa country/gospel recording artist, Storm Seymour, continues to garner several music awards. Seymour kicked-off the new year receiving two awards for his self-penned song, “Thin Ice” in the Rhythm and Blues category from the World Songwriters Association based in Sydney, Australia and from the Academy, based out of Los Angeles, Calif.

This past summer, Seymour was also nominated for Rhythm and Blues category for “Artist of the Year.” Seymour was awarded for his song, “Long Distance Love Affair” in the Pop/Rock category from the World Songwriters Association and the Academy, respectively.

Seymour was recently inducted into the Hall of Fame during the Academy’s award ceremony held out in Los Angeles. As of the writing of this news release, Storm Seymour has received a personal invitation from the Academy to attend the Hall of Fame induction ceremony scheduled to take place on May 18 in Diamond City located just north of Los Angeles. This was a formal affair.

Other Hall of Fame inductions Seymour has received include: 1990-Midwest Country News Hall of Fame; (Seymour was the youngest member to ever be inducted.) 1998-The Nebraska Country Music Foundation’s Hall of Fame; 1999-The Nebraska Country Music Foundation’s Hall of Fame, (inducted with the group White Swan.
