Farm equipment enthusiasts from around the state and the Midwest descended upon the property near the Sheriff’s Office/Jail complex along Highway 30 over the weekend for the 41st annual Mid-Iowa Antique Power Association Steam Threshing and Plowing Show, which featured three full days of activities, a host of vendors, food and ice cream along with all sorts of demonstrations of the workings of everything from steam enginges dating back over a century to blacksmithing to corn shelling and saw milling. And of course, it was hard to take more than a few steps without seeing a tractor.
