Thompson True Value is proud to reaffirm its commitment to youth sports in Marshalltown by donating 85 gallons of field marking paint to the Marshalltown Football League and $2,000 to the Marshalltown Little League baseball program.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Coach Steve Hanson and Zach Wahl for their dedicated efforts to revitalize the facilities for both programs. Zach Wahl emphasized the importance of community support by stating, It takes businesses like Thompson True Value who understand the importance of keeping a program going for the kids.
The Marshalltown Little League, which encompasses approximately 16 acres of city land, operates without financial or infrastructure support from the city. As such, it relies heavily on the generosity of businesses, individuals, and volunteers to maintain its facilities and infrastructure. This donation will provide essential support for much-needed safety improvements that have been long overdue.
Coach Steve Hanson has played a crucial role in the Marshalltown Little League, dedicating many hours to working on the Al Hoop hitting shed at the Marshalltown Little League Complex, coaching the youth during the offseason, and prepping the fields. The field marking paint will significantly enhance the game day experience.
