In what has become a yearly tradition as part of the storied Cy-Hawk football rivalry between the University of Iowa and Iowa State University, the ISU Army ROTC Cadets made a stop at the Iowa Veterans Home on Friday morning and interacted with the residents before posing for a large group photo. Stephen Yaffe of the ISU Cadets also presented a certificate of appreciation to Iowa Department of Veterans Affairs Commandant Todd Jacobus, and Jacobus was gifted an ISU ROTC Army Cadets battle flag that will be kept on the IVH campus. From there, the Cadets headed to Tama-Toledo to meet up with the UI ROTC Cadets and exchange the ball in time for the kickoff of the game on Saturday morning at 11 a.m.
