Despite the ongoing Main Street reconstruction project and concerns and controversy over the Legionnaires’ disease outbreak, the annual Oktemberfest parade was held as planned on Church Street Saturday, led by Grand Marshal Marty Mitchell and Little Miss and Mr. Oktemberfest Alexa Vargas and Ayden Sasse and featuring a wide variety of local businesses, school groups and nonprofit organizations. The rest of the weekend featured carnival attractions, food trucks, a car show and plenty of live music.
