Beginning at 7 a.m. on Thursday, through, Friday, Sept. 26, weather permitting, crews will close Iowa 330 from U.S. 30 to Iowa 14. While the roadway is closed, you will follow a marked detour route that uses U.S. 30 and Iowa 14.
Two roadway pipes will be replaced just south of the curves in Albion, which will not permit through traffic. Local traffic will still have access on Iowa 330 leading up to the full closure.
The Iowa DOT reminds motorists to drive with caution, obey the posted speed limit and other signs in the work area, and be aware that traffic fines for moving violations are at least double in work zones. As in all work zones, drivers should stay alert, allow ample space between vehicles, and wear seat belts.
