The Marshalltown Police Department is looking for a man suspected of a shooting in the 800 block of East Main Street Saturday night.

Dewey Elvie Perdue, 69, is suspected of shooting two people before leaving the scene on foot. He was last seen running southbound, wearing dark pants and a dark-hooded sweatshirt.

Perdue is 5’9″ and 205 pounds. He is considered armed and dangerous. People are advised to call 911 immediately if they become aware of his location.

Both victims were taken to the Unity Point hospital. One was treated and released. The other has been transferred to another medical center, and their status is not known.
