Just over a year after the Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) across the street closed permanently (it has since been replaced by a 7Brew Coffee), the Wendy’s at 3010 S. Center St. shuttered for good this week as part of a larger effort to close at least 300 U.S. locations in the first half of 2026.
