Despite the frigid early morning temperatures thwarting plans for an outdoor Easter Egg hunt, downtown State Center was still bustling with activity at Brian’s Collision Clinic, with the Easter bunny (pictured with Rebel Witte), balloon artist Barb Funke, a band of superheroes, Zounds the Clown and Matt Snyder all making appearances and spreading joy to local youngsters. The State Center Fire & EMS Department also held a biscuits and gravy breakfast at city hall, and Calvin Streeter gave his approval of the meal with a thumbs up.
