Five groups of Marshalltown High School (MHS) students competed in a Junior Achievement 3DE “culminating event” at the B.A. Niblock Orpheum Welcome Center on Thursday morning during which each team presented a plan for Fidelity & Guaranty (F&G) Annuities and Life of Des Moines to help the company’s employees become more aware of volunteering opportunities, and the early morning group of Costin Piscitelli, Xavier Does and Zoey Pals, who is not pictured, were selected as the winners by a group of judges from the company itself. The event, which ran just over an hour, also included the presentation of several awards to both students and staff who have been involved in the 3DE program and some interactive competitions between the presentations.
