Students and staff at St. Francis Catholic School welcomed city and county elected officials and other leaders along with members of the Marshalltown Police Department, Marshalltown Fire Department and the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office to the gymnasium for “Popsicles with Public Servants” on Wednesday afternoon. Those in attendance had an opportunity to introduce themselves and discuss what they do before enjoying a delicious popsicle of their choice, and the students even sang an impromptu “Happy Birthday” to a certain photographer who will remain unnamed.
