Henze

A State Center man has pleaded guilty to two felony counts of lascivious acts with a child stemming from incidents that occurred last year, and his prison sentence totaling up to 20 years has been fully suspended as part of a plea deal finalized on Monday.

According to court records, Douglas Dustin Henze, 54, inappropriately touched a child on two occasions last November and was arrested on Dec. 19, 2025. He originally pleaded not guilty with plans to take the case to trial before striking a plea agreement on April 24. Henze’s sentencing hearing was held Monday, and the final verdict was issued by Judge Jennifer Miller.

In addition to two consecutive 10-year suspended sentences (one for each count), Henze will be imposed a suspended $1,370 fine for each count, and he will be required to register as a sex offender.
